PFERD’s range of POLIFAN Flap Discs are manufactured and tested in accordance with the strictest quality requirements. As a founding member of the Organisation for Safety of Abrasives, PFERD is committed to conform to tougher inspection requirements which even goes beyond international recognised EN 13743 safety standards.

The patented flap disc POLIFAN-CURVE has been specially developed for work on fillet welds. The POLIFAN CURVE has abrasive flaps on both the grinding side and on the rear side, as well as on the radius. The POLIFAN CURVE is available in two thicknesses suited for different fillet weld sizes and various grain types and grit sizes are available. (Fillet Weld Radius: 5mm and 8mm) This makes the POLIFAN CURVE the ideal solution for various materials and applications such as fillet weld grinding, weld dressing, chamfering, and deburring.

Advantages:
- High Stock Removal.
- Increased processing time.
- Good service life.
- Precise and optimum grinding of the fillet weld geometry.
- Suited for Steel and Stainless Steel as the product is manufactured without addition of ferrous, chlorinated, or sulphurous fillers.
- Once abrasive on the edge / radius of the disc has been worn, the disc can be used as a conventional flap disc.
- Suitable for electric and pneumatic tool drives.
