These 1040 carbon steel hammer blanks are easy to punch and form into different hammers like dogs head or rounding hammers. For punching the eye we suggest you also get a slot punch from us. This steel can be water quenched, just temper down to at least a straw colour. 40mm wide and +- 80mm long weigh about 0.8kg. (Hammer not included).
